The Feast of the Immaculate Conception was solemnly celebrated at Holy Name Church with deep reverence and devotion. The Holy Mass was graciously offered by Msgr. John Paul from the Apostolic Nunciature, making the occasion especially significant for the parish community. Parishioners gathered in large numbers to honour the Blessed Virgin Mary under her title of the Immaculate Conception and to seek her intercession.

From the first moment of her conception, the Blessed Virgin Mary was preserved immune from all stain of original sin by a singular grace and privilege of Almighty God, in view of the merits of Jesus Christ, the Savior of the human race.

The solemn Eucharistic celebration highlighted the Church’s teaching on the Immaculate Conception — that the Blessed Virgin Mary was preserved free from original sin from the first moment of her conception, by a singular grace of God. In his homily, Msgr. John Paul reflected on Mary’s purity, obedience, and unwavering faith, encouraging the faithful to imitate her humility and trust in God’s divine plan.

The liturgy was prayerfully conducted with special hymns in honour of Our Lady. The congregation actively participated in the readings, intercessions, and Marian hymns, creating an atmosphere of devotion and thanksgiving. The presence of Msgr. John Paul brought great joy and spiritual enrichment to the parish.

The celebration concluded with a solemn blessing, leaving the faithful spiritually renewed and inspired to follow the example of the Immaculate Virgin Mary in their daily Christian life.
