The Parish Council strengthens the mission of the Church by assisting the Parish Priest in pastoral and administrative matters. It ensures that decisions reflect the needs, concerns, and aspirations of the parish community while promoting unity and shared responsibility.
The Parish Council is a collaborative body composed of clergy and lay representatives. It brings together diverse perspectives from different ministries and groups, ensuring balanced, prayerful, and community-focused decision-making.
The Council acts in a consultative role, offering guidance on pastoral planning, community initiatives, and parish development. While the Parish Priest remains the spiritual head, the Council provides structured support and collective wisdom in decision-making.
Leadership within the Parish Council is rooted in service. Members are called to lead with humility, integrity, and transparency, fostering a spirit of accountability and trust within the parish community.
An active Parish Council promotes organized parish life, strengthens ministries, improves communication, and encourages greater participation of parishioners. It helps build a parish that is spiritually vibrant and administratively sound.
