The Month of the Holy Rosary was prayerfully observed throughout October 2023 at Holy Name Church, as parishioners gathered in devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Families, youth, and elders united in daily and weekly Rosary prayers, seeking Mary’s intercession for their families, the parish community, and the Church at large. The month became a time of spiritual renewal, reflection, and deeper Marian devotion.
“Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb. Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord; let it be done to me according to your word.” – Luke 1:28, 42, 38
Throughout the month, special Rosary prayers were organized before the Holy Mass and in various parish zones. Parishioners actively participated in leading decades of the Rosary, offering intentions for peace, healing, vocations, and the needs of the parish.
Catechetical reflections were shared on the Mysteries of the Rosary, helping the faithful meditate more deeply on the life of Christ through the eyes of Mary. Children and youth were encouraged to develop the habit of daily Rosary, strengthening their faith and family prayer life.
The Month of the Rosary concluded with a special Marian celebration and thanksgiving, reaffirming the parish’s commitment to prayer and devotion. The observance brought the community closer to Christ through the loving intercession of Our Blessed Mother.
